The research in the College of Life Science embraces the breadth and depth of life sciences, including basic science in molecular biology, systematic biology, ecological studies, etc., and applied science in biotechnology, fishery, conservation etc. Building on the solid foundation, the future development of the college will steer toward several fields with exciting advances in recent years, particularly, molecular and cellular genomics, proteomics, and the integrative biology in neuroscience, developmental biology, evolutionary biology and ecology.
